Your clients never create an account or remember a password. They click a secure magic link and land in a portal carrying your brand — your logo, optionally your own domain. They can review proposals, sign contracts with one click, check project status, download files, and pay invoices from a phone or laptop.

Get paid like a business, not a favor

Take a deposit before design work starts: your proposal can require, say, 40% up front, and accepting it automatically creates and sends the deposit invoice. Payments run through your own Stripe account — money lands in your Stripe balance directly, and CliLancers never holds your funds. When a client drags their feet, automatic overdue reminders chase the invoice every 7 days so you don't have to write another awkward email.

What a design engagement looks like in CliLancers

Send a proposal with scoped milestones (concepts, revisions, final delivery). The client signs it as a contract with a legally logged e-signature. The project board appears with those milestones, you track your time against it, share work-in-progress files for approval, and each paid stage releases its deliverables.
